Rescue Ready Education is a nonprofit Firefighter founded and operated organization committed to providing accessible, high-quality emergency medical training to underserved communities and under-resourced fire and EMS departments. Our mission is to empower individuals through elite education to help close the gap in qualified personnel. Supporting the vital work of public emergency medical services and strengthening community resilience.

President: Gabe Rios
Gabe currently serves as a Fire Captain Paramedic in Tolleson, AZ where he has worked for over 19 Years. Prior to Tolleson Gabe was a reserve firefighter in Guadalupe and also worked in EMS. Gabe is currently finishing a Masters degree in Fire Science Administration.
Vice President: George (Hap) Reitz
Hap recently retired from Surprise Fire where he served for over 20 years as a Firefighter Paramedic. Hap was also an instrumental asset in Surprise Fires Wild land program and served as a Paramedic on the HALO helicopter program.
Secretary/Treasurer: Brooke Taylor
Brooke has worked in Emergency medicine in the west valley for over 8 years. She currently holds her RN BSN TNCC and works for Banner in the Emergency Department. Brooke holds Two Bachelors degrees, the first in Psychology from Siena University in NY. And her second Bachelors, A Bachelors of Science in Nursing, being from Chamberline College of Nursing.
Medical Director: Dr. Jason Grimsman DO FACEP
Dr. Grimsman completed his D.O from Midwestern University and has worked in Emergency Medicine for over 14 years. Dr. Grimsman currently oversees an Emergency Department in the West Valley. Dr. Grimsman’s expertise in emergency medicine and passion for education make him an invaluable member of our team.
Executive Director/ Lead Educator: Courtney Rios
Courtney has an extensive background in emergency medicine working in multiple roles over the last 10 years. Serving the community as an EMT, working in local emergency departments, as a 911 dispatcher for phoenix fire department and as an educator in EMS for over 8 years. Courtney brings a multitude of experiences as well as curriculum expertise and a passion for teaching to our team. Mrs. Rios passion for education is shown through her excellent first time pass rates among her students. Courtney holds a Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences from Arizona State University and is currently finishing a masters degree in Community Health Education.
